Enter The Lab 2 – Power Profile Test
So you have your FTP (functional threshold power) number but how can you tell from that if you are a good sprinter? Well the short answer is that you can’t. The gold standard with modern training techniques is to also test your best power at a few other durations so that you get a complete power profile of your strengths and weaknesses.During the 55 minute session you will complete 2 x max sprint efforts, 1 x 5 minute and 2 x 1 minute all out efforts. With this data along with the result from your FTP test from the Enter the Lab 1 workout you will be able to determine your strengths and weaknesses which will enable you to train smarter and get better results.
